Family Activities

The Museum of East Anglian Life is the perfect place for a family visit. Nearly every building has something for children to do from grinding their own flour to dressing up in period costume. There are quizzes about the Suffolk Punch, Gypsy Travellers and Victorian sporting men, an adventure playground, and the From Field to Fork trail that lets you discover where your food comes from. In Summer we have a "Growing in the Garden" activity and during half terms and in the summer holidays we have drop in art activities on subjects such as the Green Man, Spring Birds and the Victorians as well as the Big Read, Big Draw in the Big Barn which is held every October.
So why not bring along a picnic, enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside and discover the rich history of East Anglia.
