Maypoles and Morris Dancers
In May 2007, the Museum welcomed visitors to celebrate springtime in its Annual May Day Celebration.
Whilst the wet weather called a halt to any dancing round the Maypole, visitors were still able to enjoy demonstrations in the Barn from the Green Dragon Morris Dancers. For the children there was a Green Man hunt and also a Green Man mask-making workshop—both of which proved very popular.
