Tractor Students - PAVE tractor team

Tractor students continue their link with the Museum for 2nd Year.

The Museum has continued its Tractor restoration project with the 14-16 year old PAVE (Programme of Academic & Vocational Education) students at West Suffolk College. These pupils have been 'disapplied' from the National Curriculum and selected on the basis that they will benefit from a more flexible form of study. This time students restored the first Case tractor used in Suffolk. It was purchased by the donor from the Nunn's of Elmswell stand at the Suffolk Show in 1934. It was used by the donor at his farm in Brettenham for many years until it was donated to the Museum.

The tractor has returned in full working order and joins the Museums other working exhibits in the Mortlock building.
